RADICAL REST

Yoga Program

10 Days of Yoga Nidra

Over the next 10 days you can expect to learn a little in each session about why and how Yoga Nidra is so powerful.

Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a guided meditation practice that promotes profound rest and rejuvenation for the mind and body. Each day of the program offers a unique Yoga Nidra practice designed to help you release tension, reduce stress, and cultivate inner peace.

We practice and teach Yoga Nidra in a way that is free from dogma and in a style that supports each individual.

  • Day 1 - Body Connection

    20 mins
We can store so much tension in the body itself, through the process of guided awareness through the body in yoga Nidra, we can experience the transformative power of deep relaxation. Once we learn to relax the body you may notice that all of the micro tensions in the mind also soften and a stillness pervades your whole being.

  • Day 2 - Intention & Purpose

    25 mins
Yoga Nidra is a powerful technique that can help you to connect with your inner desires and cultivate a sense of purpose and direction. By entering a state of deep relaxation and conscious awareness, you can tap into your subconscious mind and unlock your true potential. During this Yoga Nidra session we will provide space to set intentions.

  • Day 3 - Neuroscience To Calm The Mind

    35 mins
Regular Yoga Nidra practice can improve brain function and increase the thickness of the prefrontal cortex, which is responsible for decision-making, attention, and emotional regulation. During Yoga Nidra, the brain shifts from the active Beta state to the relaxed Alpha and Theta states, which are associated with deep relaxation and meditation.

  • Day 4 - Release Stress & Anxiety

    35 mins
In this practice you will have the opportunity to effortlessly and consciously release from the stress and anxiety held in the mind and body, and cultivate an inner peace. Through relaxation and visualization techniques, find ways to feel calm and centered in your daily life.

  • Day 5 - The Goddess Yoga Nidra Shakti

    30 mins
The goddess Yoga Nidra Shakti comes to us from the ancient Indian Tradition of yoga. By connecting with the Goddess Yoga Nidra, practitioners can access the divine feminine energy that exists within all of us. This can help to cultivate a sense of empowerment, creativity, and compassion in their lives, as well as a greater connection to the divine.

  • Day 6 - Reduce Insomnia

    40 mins
The feeling of not being able to sleep can happen before you sleep, it might be that you find yourself awake in the night or too early in the morning. Maybe you are a shift worker and need to sleep at odd times. Whatever your situation know that you are not alone, that this yoga nidra practice will support you to find deep rest whether you fall asleep or not.

  • Day 7 - Improving Sleep

    35 mins
Incorporating Yoga Nidra into your bedtime routine can be a helpful tool to improve sleep quality. Many people override the natural signals of tiredness with late nights of screen time and digital slavery, making it more and more difficult for people to sleep well. Yoga Nidra also activates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping reduce anxiety and improving overall relaxation.

  • Day 8 - Cultivating Gratitude & Positivity

    30 mins
In this Yoga Nidra practice we begin to cultivate gratitude. By focusing on positive thoughts and intentions during the practice, such as gratitude and appreciation, we can train our minds to become more aware of the blessings in our lives. With regular practice, this heightened sense of awareness can become a habit, allowing us to cultivate a more positive and grateful mindset in our daily lives.

  • Day 9 - Manifest Your Desires

    25 mins
During this Yoga Nidra practice, you will be guided into a state of deep relaxation, a place where you can access the subconscious mind and plant seeds of intention. As the mind relaxes it is easier to bypass the conscious mind and connect with the unconscious mind, where our deepest desires reside and manifest from.

  • Day 10 - Connecting To The Divine

    25 mins
In this Yoga Nidra practice, we will guide you into a state of deep relaxation, a state of serene connection with the natural and cosmic world. You will b able to let go of any limiting beliefs and fears, so that you can open yourself up to receiving guidance and wisdom from a higher power or consciousness.
