Foundations of Yin

In this principle, we learn to find peace in our bodies as we play with our edges. At times, in the poses, we experience some resistance. Yin yoga is not meant to always be comfortable; sometimes it will take you well outside your comfort zone. Much of the benefit of the practice will come from staying in this zone of discomfort, despite the mind’s urgent plea to leave, and from learning to find peace within ourselves. This, too, is part of the practice. Enjoy going deeper into your body and exploring your edges with love.
