Week 3

The Breath, the beating heart of your being

Well done on making it through to week 3!

This week we explore the connection between the heart and the breath. The heart space relates to the element of air, by working with the breath we directly connect to Anahata to create this sense of lightness of being and the beauty of being alive.

This week we encourage you to focus on the heart as you work through your practice. Notice what awakens here through the breath, can you drop into a sense of bliss through the simplicity of your own breathing?

How this week works

We recommend that every day you commit to:

  • The Breathing Heart Practice

  • The Heart Meditation

  • Do your best to add some other heart centred practices

  • Keep journalling, and at the end of this week, go through your experience, notice how things have shifted or changed.

  • If you have more time add in another of our suggested practices at the bottom of the page.

Additional Practices & Activities you can try

  • Try other Breath practices, notice the difference between the strong ones and the soft ones.

  • Notice how you breathe throughout the day. When you are relaxed. When you are feeling stressed.

  • Bring your hands onto your heart and breathe deep, can you bring a tenderness and love to yourself by doing this simple practice.

  • Before you sleep take 10 full deep long breaths into your chest and heart and bring in the energy of love, healing, compassion, gratitude and joy for living.
